Stop bragging about your 4am alarm

This could easily be the most controversial post made.
Your 4:00am workout isn't worth it.
Unless you are also going to bed at 8:00pm. In which case, by all means!
If you continually get less than 7 hours of sleep you are increasing your risk of heart disease, stroke, diabetes, high blood pressure, the list goes on and on.
Isn't being healthy ultimately the goal of everything we do?!
I understand. Life is busy. And sure, maybe every once in a while you need to set the alarm to start your workout before God wakes up (we've done this too), but this shouldn't be a regular thing.
Your body recovers and repairs itself best when it's sleeping, which means to get the most out of each and every workout you need to sleep.
The triathlon culture has for the longest time put the 4:00am workout on a pedestal.
What if for the health of our sport and the health of athletes in our sport we put sleep on a pedestal?
Let's celebrate those athletes who know how to not only optimize their workouts, but optimize their health with sufficient sleep.
